Probem when using ABAQUS/Standard UMAT

I've installed Intel Visual Fortran 9.1 already. But when I tried to use the UMAT, after the "Begin ABAQUS standard analysis, Run standard.exe", the dialog box jump out, saying that "The procedure entry point _powr8i4 could not be located in the dynamic link library libmmd.dll". Do you have any idea what's wrong with it?:cool:

Here's a procedure that was delivered to me by someone else and that might solve your problem:


ABAQUS has its own copy of libmmd.dlll which was an earlier version of the dll supplied with the Intel compiler.

What fixed this for me was to copy the newer Intel version of the dll into the ABAQUS directories. (backing up the old version first, of course)
