Good morning everybody
I need help when plotting graphs on abaqus. I wish to plot, for example, the force x displacement curve at some node, but I just havenīt figured out how to do it on abaqus.
All I have done was plotting some field output (such as Von Mises Stress) versus Time, but I canīt change my X axis to something else than time, like displacement, force...
Iīm really needing help on this, so if you could help me, Iīd really appreciatte that.
Thank you all

You can create those graphs - but you are right it is not entirely intuative how it is done.
I don't have access to CAE right now so this is rough description. You need to use the XY-data manager and create a new data set. Then you can combine force and displacement into a pair which can then be plotted...

Just use combine() in the function list of CAE

Thank you guys very much, I actually had already figured out this combine() feature by my own... nevertheless, thank you for replying my thread anyway!!

Hello, can you Help me to plot some curves? i don't know how i can plot curve Mx or Qy.
I can plot only Misses stress.
there is my ICQ number 222-152-240. Thank you.)
The general approach is to save the desired quanties as history variables, and then plot them in CAE using the "plot history" command.

I'm study in University, and we must study Abaqus, but we haven't any material about it.
I need to plot curve of Bending moments. How can i do it?
Have you any Video materials about XY plotting? or , may be, something else?
Thank you very much!
I am afraid that I don't have any tutorials on how to do that. The are basically two steps you need to perform:
(1) You need to specify to Abaqus that you want to save that information.
(2) You can then plot the results using CAE.
If you perform a web search you will probably be able to find the Abaqus documenation online at some place. If you don't have the documentaiton yourself, I recommend that you check it out online (if you can).
