I was looking for recommendations on test services or laboratories where I can have my rubber materials tested for the standard hyper-elastic tests. (tensile, planar shear, etc.) Does anyone have a list of reliable labs that offer these services?

I new of Axel Products and had planned to use them, but they do not answer the phone and have not returned my voice mails. Does anyone know if they are they still in business?

Denjr,

I too have had the same problem with Axel Products. I have tried contacting them for over 6 weeks and no one has gotten back to me. Thankfully, Veryst Engineering can do this work for you. Contact Dr. Jorgen through a private message and he will help you.

Hi JF, thanks for your kind words.

Yes, I can likely help with your experimental tests. Send me a message (http://polymerfem.com/sendmessage.php) to discuss in more detail.

Update to my request for information. After two weeks, or so, of waiting, Axel Products returned my message about an hour after my post. They are still in business and performing material tests. They seem to be a little short on help, but were willing to help me. I felt compelled to clear the matter of them still being around as I surely don't want to damage their business in any way by suggesting they may not be in business.

This is my first use of the site and the forums and, I must say, I am very impressed with the speed of the responses. There is also an amazing amount of useful information on these topics. Thanks for providing this Dr. Bergstrom. I will contact you regarding the material tests if I need the assistance. Thanks again. I will be back here. Regularly.
