Can we used Neuber Plasticity correction method to composite material ( more specifically PEEK material) to estimate equivalent elasto-plastic stress from linear elastic stress results ?
Please provide the document/refernce to support this concept.
Thanks
Ritesh
Maybe you can...
Can you specify more about the PEEK composite that you are interested in?

Jorgen,
Thanks for the reply.
Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is basically plastic material. Could we used the Neuber plasticity rule to Plastic. Also do you have any refence which support this.
Please do reply.
Thanks in Advance.
As far as I know, the Neuber plasticity approach is not commonly used for thermoplastics such as PEEK. I would personally prefer to use a viscoplasticity model that is known to capture the non-linearities of the material response.
If you want to use a Neuber approach, then I recommend that you validate it through experimentation :o
