View Full Version : ABAQUS v. 6.4 and SUSE Linux 9.0
ABAQUS (http://abaqus.com) just released version 6.4. This version unfortunately does not yet work well with the latest version of SUSE Linux (http://suse.com). :(
Currently, only old SUSE versions 7.2, 8.0, 8.1, and 8.2 are supported.
If anyone can figure out how to get ABAQUS v. 6.4 work with SUSE 9.0, let me know.
Good news, I have been able to install ABAQUS on SuSE 9.1, see article in the main section...

hi, i have a version of ABAQUS for Windows XP, but my PC is a pentium 3, so that, abaqus don't work very good (there is bugs).
I'm traying to install ABAQUS in my LINUX (Knoppix) partition.
I think I have to install a linux version of ABAQUS, but I didn't have it.
can someone help me. i want a linux version of abaqus and how to install it.
You should be able to get a Linux version of ABAQUS from the same place as you got your Windows version.
Note, ABAQUS is a commercial software and is not freely available...
