I was interested in finding the dependence of yield strain of an amorphous polymer (e.g. PC) as a function of temperature. Where could I find information on the same?
Thanks and Regards,
~Shailendra
Both the yield stress and the yield strain go down with increasing temperature. The following figure shows the yield strain dependence on temperature for a few thermoplastics:

The figure is from the book "Environmental stress cracking of plastics", published by Rapra. Note that the yield strain goes to zero when the temperature goes to Tg.

Thanks Jorgen for the information
