Models for high strain, high strain rate behavior of PC?? [Archive] - PolymerFEM Forums

Hi!
Does anyone know of some good constitutive models capable of capturing high strain high strain rate behavior of PC. There are some models dealing with large strain (Boyce 4 chain model) but I could not find any model that captures high strain rate effects. Can anyne please help me out in this !!

You might want to take a look at some of the recent work that Prof. Boyce has done. I don't recall what material they studied, but I believe that they used split Hopkinson pressure bar tests to characterize different thermoplastics, and then developed some material model based on their results.
