Please help me with "Prony Series"

Hi, I am newbie in this area and I need some good reference with "fitting data of stress relaxation using prony series". Please help me by giving some good paper/book reference which nicely illustrates the data using Prony series fit. [please don't give the reference which just mentions the Prony series without giving details about it].

I recommend the ABAQUS theory manual and the book: "Introduction to Polymer Viscoelasticity" by Montgomery T. Shaw, William J. MacKnight. These references (and many other) describe the theory of linear viscoelasticity, Prony series, etc.

Once you understand how the theory works, then you should be able to fit a Prony series to experimental data quite easily.
