for conversion from frequency test data to Prony series

Dear All:

I am trying to convert the frequency test data into Prony series. Who has such experience? DO you have some software for it? I am using ABAQUS to convert, but the error is too large. The defaul tolerence in ABAQUS is 0.1, but I have to set it as 15 in order to obtain Prony series.

Hello David,

I wrote a short description (http://www.polymerfem.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=49)for how to obtain the Prony series.
You should be able to rather easily convert the frequency data to a Prony series using this approach and some mathematical software like Matlab.
