Blow Mold Simulation

Hi Guys,

I´m new on this forum -this is my first post-, I need to simulate a FEA, of a blow injection mold -like a bottle mold but on rubber-, through ABAQUS, but I´m stuck in the best way to do it, maybe somebody have much experience on this kind of analysis.

Hello Pablo, welcome to the forum!

That is a challenging assignment - but it should be doable if you are careful.
You will face challenges both in terms of large element distortions and non-linear material behavior.

Can you explain more about how you are currently planning on proceeding? How accurate do you need your simulations need to be? When do you need results? These questions will help decide what type of simulation is best suitable for you.
