hi sir,
am narender ,am facing the problem while modelling the shaft-bearing system in the abaqus.i need some help from u.my problem is dynamic analysis of shaft supported on roller bearings. in finite element formulation i replaced the roller with springs.but while modelling the system in abaqus am facing problem.i could not able to select the nodal points on the shaft surface and the inner surface of the housing to connect the spring element in between them.
the problemsis ar:
1.how to appy the loads on the system
2.how to appy boundary conditions on the system
3.hich boundary conditions are suitable for the analysis
4.how to incorporate the rotational speed of the shaft in the system
the major problem is that am not finding any paper to validate the results of " dynamic analysis of shaft supported on roller bearings".am very thankful if u send me the source to find the above title or if any dyrect journal paers are available.
