hi sir,
my aim of the project is to get the dynamic charaterstics of the shaft supported on roller bearings by using abaqus.for this i made literature riview and found that , the rollers in the bearings are treated as non-linear springs.the the inner race of the bearing is keyed to the shaft and outer race of the bearing is stationary(while modelling we have to replace the rollers with springs and have to define stiffness property).so for this one end of the spring is connected to inner race nodal point and other end of the spring is connected to outer race nodal point.for this ineed a procedure to develop this in abaqus.problem is that i could not found examples of my model. if u have any idea about this pls give me your valueable suggestions sir. so that i can procede step by step.
the main problem is that:
i could not able to find a single paper on the shaft-rooler bearing system.if u have any idea regarding this matter please send me sources ,so that i can get some information sir.to get so
