A new version of the Hybrid Model (HM) - a constitutive model specifically developed for predicting the mechanical deformation behavior of UHMWPE under arbitrary deformation states - has been developed. This model, which likely also works well for other semicrystalline polymers, is described in detail in this file.

In the document (http://polymerfem.com/polymer_files/Hybrid_Model2.pdf) the model predictions are compared with experimental data for UHMWPE with 4 different heat treatments, including closslinked UHMWPE (XLPE).

The title of the document is: Prediction of Multiaxial Mechanical Behavior for Conventional and Highly Crosslinked UHMWPE Using a Hybrid Constitutive Model.
