Hello foransys.

In order to "make a dynamic load" you should first of all specify all material properties of your construction, including density; then start a new transient analysis, establish initial conditions, specify loads and time step options, and then run the analysis. The dynamic load should be applied using several steps, each of them consisting of substeps. Actually, I advice you to read more about this in ANSUS Documentation, Section Structural Analysis Guide -> Transient Dynamic Analysis.

thank you for your answer. I dont know english enough. I hope, i can explain :) I specified all material properties. I could not make to apply load. What is command step to make apply dynamic load? Can you explain more? Like these. Ex: main menu/solution/analysis type/new analysis… or ex: main menu/solution/define loads/apply…..
I am studying asphalt material. I study pavement and pavement layers. I will study stress analysis of the layers. need to make to apply load of the vehicles power that go on the road. its not a static load, its a load which comes with known frequency
like effect of 1000N / 5 second

good byee

To start dynamic analysis:
Main menu -> Solution -> New analysis -> transient -> Full

The simpliest way to apply loads is to divide the load curve into parts corresponding to linear pieces (load steps). At this steps load may be either linear in time, or constant.
You apply loads as you ususally do:
Solution -> Define loads -> Apply -> ...

An important way in transient analysis is
Solution -> Load Step Opts -> Time/Frequency (here you specify load step time, number of substeps, stepped/ramped load - constant or linear load through the load step).

Solution -> Analysis Type -> Analysis Options (to specify solver parameters).

Then you can use
Solution -> Load Step Opts -> write LS file (in order to write a sequence of load step files to HDD) and then Solve -> from LS files.

Another way to set loads in to use a TABLE array parameter with TIME as a variable.

Actually I still advise you to read ANSYS Help. I'm sure you have enought knowledge of english to come through it.

Good luck!

my friend help me with I could write to the you. but now, single head I am writing :).becoming clear that the wrote. Actually I dont know very much english. I readed ANSYS help but I dont understand. Can you hel me?

I started dynamic analysis

1. step main menu>Analysis Type>New Analysis>Transient>full ok
2. step main menu>Solution -> Define loads -> Apply...???? what more after this than
2. step main menu>solutions>load step opts> (there is not a Time/Frequancy the here)

(the computer translation software with I writed :))
I hope, I could explain

I found a transient analysis the example. example attach files to add. my study topic like this ??? what is you think?

thanks a lot

Yes, this pdf example is exactly what you need!
Try doing it and I hope after that you'll be able to do your own analysis.

Good luck!

now, I am trying. I hope, I can make

transient analysis did not fit my study :( because I will try one day,one month or one year and I will write a lot of load step for ex: 1.000.000 load step. solve impossible :( what can I do? thanks

What is your study about so that you need to simulate 1 year process???

because, asphalt material is not to be quick deformation. so, i must try quite a long time. I want to apply load such;
One second to apply load (for ex: 1000 N)
one second not to apply load (for ex: 0 N)
one second to apply load (for ex: 1000 N)
one second not to apply load (for ex: 0 N)
........ likewise, I must do a lot of apply load.

errr.. actually I doubt that you need to simulate so many cycles of load application. I guess there should exist some methods to estimate asphalt fatigue or whatever you need, based on a limited number of cylces. Nobody simulates a process that lasts a year with 1 second load steps!

you are right. can you look at file?
