Gfortran on Abaqus 6.7-1

Yet another question about fortran compilers for Abaqus on Linux. Has anybody used gfortran? If so, how do you set it up in the environment file?

I have not tried to use the gfortran compiler with Abaqus. But a few years ago someone told me that he had successfully used f77 to compile a user subroutine for ABAQUS. So it might be possible ...
