I have installed ANSYS11 in the 64-bit version of OpenSUSE (Intel Core2 Quad cpu), and the launcher opens, but I haven't been able to resolve the following error when I try to start ANSYS Classic.

ERROR MESSAGE: /usr/ansys_inc/v110/ansys/bin/linem64t/ansys.e110: error while loading shared libraries: libXm.so.3: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to correct it? ANSYS will only say it should run and I haven't found a linux forum yet with a solution for OpenSUSE.

Any advice or a direction to a source of information on this would be a bit help.

Thanks!

PS I have the OpenMotif libraries all installed, and libXm.so.3 exists.

I am not familiar with that specific error message. My guess is that Ansys looks for a 64-bit version of the libXm library, but can only find a 32-bit...

thanks Jorgen - I kind of figured that ;-) And I have double-checked I have openmotif with 64-bit installed as well, but danged if I can figure out how to get ANSYS to use it.
